A road man trained in both the Japanese Soto Zen Buddhist and North American Flower Soldier traditions, Rev. Billy Red Horse Starnes is the co-founder of The Zen Earth School, a distinctive school of American Dharma that integrates the Zen Mind with the Native Heart. A student and teacher of metaphysics and mysticism, Red Horse was formally ordained first as a Zen disciple in 1995 by Zenkai Taiun and later to the priesthood in the Church of the East (American See) in 1997 and awarded a Licentiate of Sacred Theology by Patriarch Mar Joseph Narsai in 1998.
In stark contrast to his formalized Zen and ecclesiastical education (where certificates of status and achievement are the norm), Red Horse’s initiation into the Ways of the Flower Soldier came primarily at the side of his adoptive Native Grandfather, White Wolf. After many years of working and traveling with his Grandpa, Red Horse was one day casually referred to (and thereby recognized) as a Medicine Chief. This recognition does not suggest graduation, for it is said that a Flower Soldier never graduates. Mastery is the constant process of refinement.
Red Horse is known as The Gentleman Mystic. The focus of his work is Transcendence in all its forms: Emotional, Physical, Mental and Spiritual, teaching people how to find their power and to experience the fullness of a Life well-lived.
Rev. Robbie Dancing Sun Cat Hunt is a disciple of several spiritual traditions, incorporating the Wisdom of numerous sacred texts and teachings in her work as a Teacher of Metaphysics and Intuitive Arts, as a Spiritual Counselor, and in her work as an Astrologer and Healer.
Robbie received full ordination from Inner Quest Metaphysical Christian Church, after completing their five-year seminary program. A co-founder of The Zen Earth School, she is a Reiki Master and learned in the ways of Tai Chi Chuan and Taoism. Robbie is known as Dancing Sun Cat, the Medicine Name given to her by a Native American Elder and Chief, after receiving the teachings of the Medicine Wheel from him. She regularly incorporates into her personal spiritual practice precepts from Zen Buddhism, Hinduism and Religious Science.
Robbie uses her intuitive abilities and understanding of Astrology as tools to counsel individuals about the energetic patterns operating in their lives.
